Accessibility Statement
New Path Psychiatry is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. This is the current international standard for web accessibility, and meeting it also satisfies the 2.1 Level AA benchmark that United States accessibility rules reference.
What we do to support accessibility
- We design pages with clear structure, readable text, and sufficient color contrast.
- We build controls that work with a keyboard, not only a mouse.
- We write labels, links, and error messages in plain, person-first language.
- We review accessibility as part of our regular design and build work, using a combination of automated checks, manual review, and testing with assistive technology.
Areas we are still improving
We are honest about where we are not yet fully there. Some content on this site is provided by outside services, such as our appointment and intake forms. We do not control every detail of how that content is built, so parts of it may not fully meet our target yet. Where that is the case, we monitor it and offer another way to reach us. If any part of this site does not work for you, you can always call us to get the same information or to schedule.
