For Therapists & Providers
Collaborative psychiatric care that respects your clinical judgment
When You Refer to Us, You Stay the Lead
We know the frustration. You refer a patient for medication management, and the psychiatrist becomes unreachable. Or they dismiss your clinical observations. Or they change the treatment direction without telling you.
That's not how we work.
When you refer to New Path Psychiatry, you're not handing off your patient, you're adding a collaborative partner. We believe the therapist is often the closest to the patient's day-to-day experience, and your observations are essential to effective medication management.
What Collaboration Looks Like Here
We communicate
You can reach us. Our team responds personally to referring providers and returns messages promptly.
We listen
If you say something doesn't seem right, we take it seriously. We don't dismiss therapist observations.
We coordinate
We'll join a therapy session if it would help, and we send updates on medication changes so you're never out of the loop.
We respect your role
Your therapist stays the lead of the case. We focus on medication management and follow your clinical lead, by design.
The Referral Process
You refer
Share our contact information with your patient, or reach out to us directly.
We reach out
Every new patient gets a personal intake call from our team to discuss their history, needs, and fit.
We coordinate
Once the patient is onboarded, we establish communication with you, their referring provider, and build a shared treatment plan.
Ongoing collaboration
We stay in touch throughout treatment. Medication changes, progress updates, and concerns flow both ways.
